Accessibility

Everyone should be able to order great halal food. Nema Eats is designed and tested to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
What we do
The site works with keyboard-only navigation and screen readers. Pages use semantic landmarks and a skip-to-content link; dialogs trap focus and close with Escape; forms have programmatic labels and announce errors; order and cart updates are announced to assistive technology; text colors meet AA contrast on our white backgrounds. We run automated accessibility checks (axe-core) against the live site as part of every release.
Known limitations
The payment step embeds Stripe's hosted card form, whose internals are maintained by Stripe. Restaurant menu content (item names and descriptions) is written by the restaurants themselves; we require text alternatives where images appear, but wording quality varies.
Tell us if something is broken
If any part of Nema Eats is hard to use with assistive technology, email hello@nemaeats.com with the page and what happened. Accessibility reports go to the top of our queue, and we'll respond within two business days.
